This year's television festival drew the participation of 100 organisations with 734 entries, across 11 categories, including children's programmes, documentaries, reportage, science and education programmes, talk shows, music shows, television dramas and videos on digital platforms.

Within the framework of the festival, there were two specialised workshops on the practical development needs of the television industry.

The first workshop highlighted the skills that television journalists need to succeed in the digital environment and how to optimise work efficiency with AI colleagues.

The other focused on solutions for data exploitation, AI applications and advanced technologies to improve television production, distribution and copyright management efficiency content across multiple platforms.

At the ceremony, the organisers presented 54 gold awards, 98 silver awards, 223 consolation awards and 3 individual awards.

Speaking at the ceremony, PM Pham Minh Chinh expressed his deep impression of this year's entries and assessed that over the past 42 editions, the festival has been a journey of tireless dedication, burning passion, unlimited creativity, and strong innovation.

According to the government leader, television is not merely communication, but the heartbeat of people, the breath of social life, and the voice of the era.

As the country undergoes strong transformation, the role of press television becomes even more vital. It is the bridge between the Party, State and the people, awakening the aspiration to contribute, spreading noble humanitarian values, and promoting the spirit of great unity.

Facing many significant challenges such as changing audience tastes and the explosive development of digital technology, the PM suggested that the television industry continue to innovate, accelerate digital transformation, and develop a multi-platform television ecosystem, with the audience at the centre.
