The programme was organised by the Youth Union Cell of the Investigation Security Division and the Women’s Union of the Investigation Security Division of the Quang Tri Provincial Police, in coordination with Lang Ho Border Guard Station, Leximco Company, and the Viet Nam–Japan Economic Cooperation Promotion Association.
Speaking at the inauguration ceremony, Lieutenant Colonel Pham Thanh Long, Deputy Head of the Investigation Security Division of the Quang Tri Provincial Police, emphasised the programme’s humanitarian significance, while affirming that this was a practical activity demonstrating the social responsibility of the People’s Public Security force, the close linkage between domestic units and the overseas Vietnamese community, and their joint efforts to care for the future generation of the country.
At the programme, the Organising Committee presented the “Smart Library for Children”, comprising books, learning equipment and educational materials (worth nearly 100 million VND) suitable for preschool-age children, contributing to the creation of a lively learning environment, fostering a love of reading and developing thinking skills among young children.
Representing the sponsoring unit, Ms Le Thuong of the Viet Nam–Japan Economic Cooperation Promotion Association shared that, through the Association’s connecting role, the overseas Vietnamese community has always turned towards the homeland with concrete actions, particularly through investment in education and in children—the young shoots of the nation today and in the future.
The programme stands as a vivid testament to the spirit of great national unity, the joint efforts of various forces and overseas Vietnamese towards the homeland, contributing to the spread of profound humanitarian values and the building of a knowledge foundation for the younger generation in disadvantaged areas.
