Maps of Vietnam showcased at Germany tourism fair

NDO/VNA—The maps of Vietnam are being displayed at the International Tourism Exchange Berlin (ITB) 2017 in Germany, which runs from March 8-12.

The showcasing of the maps aims to promote the imageand people of Vietnam to foreign friends, especially the country’s sovereignty over the Hoang Sa (Paracel) and Truong Sa (Spratly) Archipelagos.

Covering an area of 200m2, the Vietnam booth features the beauty of Vietnam’s nature, culture and people.

It sees the presence of the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism, the Vietnam Tourism Association, the Tourism Departments of Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City and Ninh Binh province and 32 travel companies.

As the most important event in the world’s tourism industry, ITB Berlin 2017 has attracted 10,000 tourism management agencies, businesses, hotels and resorts from 180 countries and territories.

It serves as a venue for international enterprises to share experience and look for partners, and it provides visitors with varied tourism information.
