Speaking at the meeting, Head of the NA’s Office Nguyen Hanh Phuc said in 2014, the four Central offices worked closely together to better perform their functions as consultancy agencies to serve central agencies and senior leaders of the Party and State.

The four offices also worked with relevant agencies to develop draft laws and ordinances, popularise the new 2013 Constitution, as well as join hands with the whole political system to enhance the law-governed socialist State of the people, by the people and for the people, he said.

They also worked well in receiving citizens and addressing their complaints, and providing training courses on legal regulations, State management, security and national defence for the staff, he noted.

In his speech, NA Chairman Nguyen Sinh Hung spoke highly of efforts made by the four Central offices in the past year.

He expressed his hope that the staff will better their functions, increase the professionalism in their work and improve their work’s effectiveness while continuing to pay further attention to the implementation of the revised Constitution.
