NA Standing Vice Chairman extends Christmas greetings to Da Nang Diocese

Politburo member and Standing Vice Chairman of the National Assembly (NA) Tran Thanh Man, visited and congratulated the Da Nang Diocese and the Vietnam Christian Mission in Da Nang on December 19, on the occasion of the upcoming Christmas holiday.

At the Da Nang Diocese, NA Standing Vice Chairman Tran Thanh Man sent his best wishes to Bishop Joseph Dang Duc Ngan and all Catholic followers this Christmas season.

He said that thanks to the solidarity of the entire people, including Catholic bishops, priests, and followers, Vietnam has repelled the COVID-19 pandemic and restored the economy, and the country expects to achieve an 8% economic growth rate this year.

He also praised the Diocese of Da Nang for actively holding charity activities, especially taking care of people in need, the elderly, orphans and people with disabilities, contributing to spreading love and compassion among the people.

Bishop Joseph Dang Duc Ngan thanked the NA official and authorities for taking care of the Catholic community.

NA Standing Vice Chairman Tran Thanh Man also conveyed his Christmas greetings and congratulations to Pastor, President of the Vietnam Christian Mission Nguyen Quang Duc and dignitaries and followers of the Christian Mission, while visiting the Vietnam Christian Mission in Da Nang.
