The Airports Corporation of Vietnam (ACV), the investor in the Long Thanh airport project, said that more than 4,000 workers and 2,000 machines are mobilised to work on the construction site. The construction and installation of equipment of main items all ensure the schedule, including the passenger terminal, the runways and taxiways, and routes connecting to the airport.

Meanwhile, the investor of the Bien Hoa-Vung Tau Expressway proposed that Dong Nai Province speed up land clearance to serve the construction of the expressway. In addition, Dong Nai authorities were also asked to arrange resettlement for local households in the Loc An-Binh Son resettlement area.

NA Vice Chairman Nguyen Duc Hai appreciated the efforts of relevant units in implementing the key national construction projects. He also recommended accelerating the progress of bidding packages and ensuring safety and quality during the construction process.

The NA official is scheduled to hold a working session with the People’s Committee of Dong Nai Province on the same day regarding the two aforementioned projects.
