Three Vietnamese Universities ranked in QS WUR by Subject 2025 in Natural Sciences

Three higher education institutions in Vietnam have been listed in the QS World University Rankings by Subject 2025 (QS WUR by Subject 2025) for the field of Natural Sciences. The rankings have been recently announced by Quacquarelli Symonds (QS), an international education organisation.

The QS WUR by Subject 2025 in Natural Sciences provides a list and evaluation of universities worldwide that offer programmes in this field.

Three Vietnamese universities ranked in the Natural Sciences category included Duy Tan University (ranked 377th), Vietnam National University, Ho Chi Minh City (ranked 451-500), and Ton Duc Thang University (ranked 501-550).

The QS World University Rankings by Subject 2025 evaluate institutions across five major subject groups: Arts & Humanities, Engineering & Technology, Life Sciences & Medicine, Natural Sciences, and Social Sciences & Management. The rankings assess approximately 21,000 academic programmes worldwide.

Universities are evaluated based on five criteria, with customised weighting for different fields including: Academic Reputation, Employer Reputation, Citations per Paper (average number of citations per scientific publication), H-index (a measure of faculty research productivity and impact), and International Research Network (collaborations in global research).
