Nhan Dan Newspaper and Belgian press agencies seek ways to promote cooperation

At the meeting, Minh, who is also a member of the Party Central Committee (PCC), deputy head of the PCC’s Communications and Education Commission and chairman of the Vietnam Journalists’ Association, expressed his delight in welcoming the diplomat and his entourage from the Belgian embassy to visit and learn about the Vietnamese Communist Party’s newspaper.

He thanked the ambassador for his positive assessment of the relationship between Vietnam and Belgium and introduced the guest to Nhan Dan Newspaper, the central organ of the Communist Party of Vietnam and the voice of the Party, State and people of Vietnam, including its 10 publications and the Nhan Dan Television broadcasting network.

In addition, Nhan Dan Newspaper has established cooperative relations with a range of partners around the world and currently has representative offices in Laos, Cambodia, Thailand, China, Russia and France.

Editor-in-Chief Le Quoc Minh stated that the newspaper and the Vietnamese media in general always support the friendship between Vietnam and Belgium, while selecting and posting positive information about the country and people of Belgium.

For his part, the Belgian ambassador said communication plays an extremely important role in this new context, expressing his hope and trust that Nhan Dan Newspaper will continue to play a key role in promoting the relationship between the two sides.

The ambassador also affirmed that he will make efforts to promote relations between the two countries in general and the media in particular.
