Nhan Dan Newspaper joins Avante Press Festival

Nhan Dan (People) Newspaper joined the Portuguese Communist Party (PCP)’s 46th Avante Press Festival from September 2 to 4.

The booth arranged by the newspaper at the festival in Amora City has attracted a great number of visitors who are interested in Vietnam’s people and culture, as well as its development and international integration.

At a meeting with the newspaper’s delegation, Head of the PCP’s External Relations Commission Pedro Guerreiro expressed his delight at the very positive development steps Vietnam has taken in recent years under the leadership of the Communist Party of Vietnam.

The leader of the PCP said he was very interested in the experience of the Communist Party of Vietnam in leading the country, expressing his strong support for the path to socialism in Vietnam.

In reference to Vietnam’s participation at the Avante Press Festival, Pedro Guerreiro affirmed that the Vietnamese pavilion, as organised by Nhan Dan Newspaper, is an important highlight that is expected at each Avante Press Festival, showing support and solidarity with the PCP, while at the same time being a very meaningful opportunity to introduce international friends to the Communist Party of Vietnam as well as the outstanding results of the country in recent time.
