Hundreds of copies were simultaneously distributed to provinces across France, offering the Vietnamese community, especially the younger generation, a chance to reflect on key milestones during the 21-year-long resistance war against the United States for national salvation. Tran Dai Trang, a resident of Rennes in northwestern France, shared: “We were born and raised in a time when our beloved Viet Nam was experiencing strong integration and development. For us, the war exists only in books and in the memories of our parents’ and grandparents’ generations. As the world continues to witness conflicts, we treasure our current peaceful lives even more, surrounded by family and loved ones. On this 50th anniversary of national reunification, we are fortunate to receive the special supplement of Nhan Dan Newspaper. Our son was instantly fascinated by the vivid illustrations of Viet Nam’s heroic struggle. We hope he will grow up to appreciate the sacrifices of those before him, cherish peace, and become a responsible, patriotic citizen.” |
