Early in the morning, their mother took Linh Chi and An Nhien to the Hoan Kiem Lake area to visit the interactive exhibition and collect a special supplement from Nhan Dan Newspaper. Wearing their vibrant flag-themed shirts, the two sisters waited orderly and patiently to receive the special publications.
Entering the exhibition space, Linh Chi shared: “I saw lots of other kids visiting too, and it made me so happy! I loved taking check-in photos with the replica tank and the Independence Palace. I will show these pictures to my classmates and tell them about the victory of 30 April.”
Similar to Linh Chi and An Nhien, brothers Minh Nhat and Nhat Anh also woke up early to join their parents for a day out at the exhibition hosted by Nhan Dan Newspaper. For Minh Nhat, the exhibition space at Nhan Dan’s headquarters has become very familiar, as he has hardly ever missed any exhibition there.

Thuy Dung, mother of Minh Nhat, shared: “The kids were excited from the night before. This morning they jumped out of bed, eager for a family outing. We see exhibitions like this to educate them about the love for our homeland and country.”
“The special exhibitions and publications by Nhan Dan Newspaper are incredibly educational and creative. They offer the public, especially young people, valuable insights into the nation’s history. Every exhibition organised by Nhan Dan brings new and unique experiences through images and technology,” Thuy Dung added.
To celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (30 April 1975–2025), Nhan Dan Newspaper’s exhibition integrates three key technologies: 3D mapping light displays, augmented reality (AR), and virtual reality (VR).
Immersed in the historic spirit of April, Hai and his friends dedicated their entire weekend morning to meaningful activities. They woke at 4 a.m., attended the flag-raising ceremony at Ba Dinh Square, and then headed to the Nhan Dan headquarters to experience the exhibition.
Hai shared that Nhan Dan’s special programmes commemorating the 30 April victory are widely shared across media platforms and have received enthusiastic support from young audiences. The printed editions of Nhan Dan are designed beautifully, with a youthful, dynamic style blending traditional and modern journalism. At the exhibition space, Hai and his friends were also amazed and delighted by the vivid sound and imagery created by the presentation technologies.
“Every display corner brought fresh and exciting experiences for me. Like many other young people, I felt an overwhelming sense of national pride,” Hai enthusiastically shared.

Meanwhile, Minh Trang, a university student from Hung Yen, travelled dozens of kilometres to attend Nhan Dan’s exhibition.
“I arrived in Hanoi very early, around 6:30 a.m. Through TikTok, I learned that I needed to queue for a long time to enter and receive the newspaper, so I planned to come early. When I arrived, the line stretched well past Bao Khanh – Le Thai To Street. However, the queue was orderly, with no pushing or jostling,” Trang said.
As a member of Generation Z, Trang is deeply interested in the nation’s history. She confided, “I was born and raised in peacetime, but from a young age, my father taught me to remember and appreciate the sacrifices of previous generations who fought and won our country’s independence and freedom. My grandfather passed away when I was very young, so I never had the chance to hear his war stories firsthand.
However, through my father’s accounts, I know that my grandfather was a brave soldier in Uncle Ho’s army. Part of his body was left on the battlefield. Now, when I look at the medals carefully framed and proudly displayed at home, I always feel immense pride and remind myself to strive harder to be worthy of the sacrifices my grandfather’s generation made with their blood and lives.”
Because of these emotions, Minh Trang felt deeply moved when visiting the exhibition. She not only learned more about the nation’s great victory but also experienced a profound sense of pride through the images and stories conveyed across each newspaper page.
