A large number of foreign visitors eagerly joined the crowds lining up to receive the special supplement by Nhan Dan Newspaper and to explore the exhibition at its headquarters on April 30. Pat, a visitor from Australia, expressed his joy at his presence in Vietnam on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of national reunification. “Fifty years ago, I was a 17-year-old young man. Even back then, I was aware of the war in Vietnam. After 50 years, seeing your country’s development and achievements, I truly admire your efforts".
Highly appreciating Nhan Dan Newspaper’s organisation of interactive exhibition, Pat also said: “At home, I was not sure that young people would come to the exhibition. However, it is wonderful to see young local people interested in caring about the past and history. The newspaper is carrying out a very important way to help the younger generations learn about the history.”

Sharing the same joy, Joe, a tourist from England, said that when he decided to travel to Vietnam, he had no idea about this major national celebration, so being here today felt like a stroke of luck for him. “It’s really lovely to see people coming out together will the national flags and being proud of that.”, he said.
According to Joe, Nhan Dan Newspaper’s special supplement is very interesting as all readers can scan the QR codes to receive more information about Vietnamese people’s struggle for liberation of the south and national reunification. “It’s very lucky for me to receive a copy of the special supplement.”, Joe added.
