The contest is open to both professional and amateur writers as well as literature lovers from both at home and abroad and Overseas Vietnamese and foreigners in Vietnam.
The contestants are encouraged to compose novels on the Vietnam’s construction and protection process, and Vietnamese people, especially workers, farmers, armed forces, intellectuals, and businesses.
Each entrant can summit two entries to the Literature and Art Times’ headquarters at Block A, 32 Hao Nam Street, Dong Da District, Hanoi, or via email thoibaovhnt@gmail.com. The entries, which must not have participated nor been awarded in any other contests before, should be composed between December 10, 2022, and March 1, 2025.
The winners will be announced on April 2025; and one first, two second, three third and five consolation prizes worth 270 million VND in total will be presented to the best entries.
The entries will be evaluated by a five-member jury comprising writers Hoang Quoc Hai and Khuat Quang Thuy, and arts critics Bui Viet Thang, Nguyen Thanh Tu, and Bich Thu.
