"Good Morning Vietnam" is an international music project with profound significance, jointly implemented by Nhan Dan Newspaper and IB Group. Its aim is to introduce high-calibre international music to Vietnam while simultaneously promoting Vietnamese culture and tourism.

In October 2024, the "Bond Live in Vietnam" concert offered an exhilarating musical experience to more than 3,000 audience members at the National Convention Centre in Hanoi. Applause echoed throughout the venue as traditional Vietnamese culture and landscapes blended seamlessly with iconic global musical works.

Following the concert, the four members of Bond travelled to Quang Ninh to film the “Victory – Bond in Vietnam” MV in offshore areas of Ha Long Bay. In the video, the quartet wears traditional Vietnamese ao dai and performs the classical piece “Victory” on the open sea, delivering a captivating audiovisual experience.

“This MV brings immense value to Vietnam’s tourism industry in general and to Quang Ninh in particular. I believe that after its release, both domestic and international tourist numbers to Ha Long will increase,” said Cao Tuong Huy, Vice Chairman of Quang Ninh Provincial People’s Committee.

Set to the music of "Victory", the MV features iconic scenes of Quang Ninh such as the lives of fishermen in floating villages, Trong Mai Islet, and the tranquil Oan beach — all depicted through mesmerising imagery. Particularly noteworthy are rare aerial shots of Ha Long Bay at Mat Rong Island, a location still largely unknown to many tourists.

Nguyen Thuy Duong, Chairman of IB Group, noted: “Mat Rong Island offers a stunning natural backdrop, largely untouched. To film here, we had to construct a floating stage. Transporting dozens of tonnes of equipment while ensuring environmental and ecological protection was a huge challenge.” Despite this, the crew worked meticulously, racing against time while overcoming weather and terrain obstacles to bring the MV to life.

Collaborating with world-renowned artists to spread elite international music in Vietnam — and using it as a medium to promote Vietnamese culture and tourism — marks a unique and innovative approach by Nhan Dan Newspaper and its partners. Mr Le Quoc Minh, Member of the Party Central Committee, Editor-in-Chief of Nhan Dan Newspaper, Deputy Head of the Party Central Committee for Information, Education and Mass Mobilization, and Chairman of the Vietnam Journalists Association, said that promoting the country and its people through music videos is a highly effective approach. With a modest budget, these videos allow the image of Vietnam to reach a broader international audience.

The first endorsement came directly from Bond themselves. The members were in awe of the breathtaking beauty of Ha Long Bay. Director Phu Tran shared that after filming concluded at Oan Beach, the group even requested to shoot an additional scene — a touching moment for the entire team.

Praising the collaboration between art and tourism, Pham Van Bay, Deputy Director of Vietravel’s Hanoi branch, expressed hope that more of Vietnam’s scenic spots will appear in internationally renowned MVs in the future.

In 2025, Quang Ninh Province aims to welcome around 20 million tourists, including 4 to 5 million international visitors. According to Cao Tuong Huy, "Victory – Bond in Vietnam" is not only expected to help achieve this goal but also to elevate Ha Long Bay’s status as a premier tourist destination in Vietnam, the region, and the world.

“Once released, the MV will undoubtedly draw the attention of the public, especially international travellers, to Ha Long,” said Nguyen Lam Nguyen, Deputy Director of the Quang Ninh Provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism. “We have already developed visitor plans for each month and each quarter.”
