OVs in Czech Republic celebrate Lunar New Year

NDO/VNA—Overseas Vietnamese in the Czech Republic gathered at an event to celebrate the 2017 Lunar New Year hosted by the Vietnamese Association in collaboration with the Saparia company in Prague on January 20.

The event drew the participation of more than 800 representatives of Vietnamese businesses in the Czech Republic.

The event also saw the participation of fourteen officials and artists from the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Culture and Sports.

Nguyen Hung, Vice Director of the department, said this was the first time the department had sent an art delegation with traditional music and dance performances to serve the Vietnamese community in the Czech Republic.
