The programme, hosted by the Vietnam Children Support and Development Centre and Thien Long Group, is being organised in six cities and provinces across the country, such as Thua Thien Hue, Bac Ninh, Kien Giang, and Ha Giang.

The contest received more than 30,000 entries from local children. The paintings feature children’s activities at home and school, and their implementation of Uncle Ho’s teachings for children.

According to Trinh Van Hao, a representative from Thien Long Group, the event aims to inspire children’s creativity with colours and nurture their love for painting, and the arts in particular.

In Thua Thien Hue province, the event drew the participation of nearly 500 students from Quang Trung Elementary School.

In addition to showing off their painting skills, the students also joined exciting games and received gifts from the organisers.
