The thematic exhibition “95 Years of the Party Flag Lighting the Way” takes place within the framework of the National Exhibition on National Achievements – “80 Years of Independence–Freedom–Happiness” from August 28 to September 5 at the National Exhibition Centre (Dong Anh, Ha Noi).
The exhibition is a particularly significant event, honouring history and showcasing the outstanding achievements of the Party, the State and the people in safeguarding, building and developing the nation over the past 80 years. It affirms the Party’s leadership, the State’s governance, and the unity, creativity and efforts of the entire nation in the cause of national construction and development.
It is also an opportunity to promote the image of a renewed and dynamic Viet Nam to all walks of life and the international community.
For the first time, Party history enters the digital space
The highlight of the thematic exhibition “95 Years of the Party Flag Lighting the Way” is the 3D online exhibition system combined with the physical space. With just an internet-connected device, people across the country and overseas Vietnamese can “stroll” through each section, interacting with realistic images as if they were physically present at the exhibition.

Notably, an AI Chat system and guiding robots have been deployed to provide instant support. With this technology, each visitor enjoys a “personalised” journey – being guided, having questions answered, and being introduced to further historical insights in a friendly and accessible way.
Alongside the physical exhibition, we have launched a 3D online exhibition in the digital space, enabling people across the country and overseas Vietnamese to visit all sections with realistic images and easy interaction.

Multi-sensory technology brings history to life
Beyond the virtual space, the exhibition also applies a series of advanced technologies appearing in Viet Nam for the first time:
– Interactive mapping books: the 13 Party Congresses are concisely summarised, with each page opening a vivid historical story, making the past seem to move right before the viewer’s eyes.
– “Millions of Hands – One Belief” wall: a communal space where people can leave their mark of trust in the journey of Independence–Freedom–Happiness.
– AR and VR: augmented and virtual reality take viewers “back” to historic moments. From the “Dien Bien Phu in the Air” campaign to the image of the “Party Flag Lighting the Way”, the technology creates powerful visual impressions and stirs deep pride.
Now visitors not only see history but can also touch, feel and walk alongside it. The Party is no longer a distant concept but becomes close in every step and experience.

“Racing against time” to meet the deadline
Behind the success of the exhibition lies an extraordinary journey of effort. With special technical requirements and tight deadlines, the implementation team mobilised more than one hundred technology engineers working almost “around the clock”. Leading partners such as Viettel High Tech, VinMotion, VTT and Plus Studio contributed from digital infrastructure, servers, AR/VR technology to the 3D online platform.
The biggest challenge was not only time but also the accuracy required in recreating artefacts and historical spaces. Engineers had to work in parallel with historians and art experts to ensure both precision and artistic quality. After many trials and adjustments, they succeeded in creating a “dual” exhibition – both traditional and modern, both solemn and approachable.
This was a large-scale project with special technical requirements. To meet them, we mobilised resources at every level – from senior leadership to product teams, technology engineers and leading partners in each field. We worked with Viettel High Tech, VinMotion, VTT and Plus Studio to implement large-scale digital infrastructure and platforms, ensuring artistry, detail and accuracy in recreating artefacts and historical spaces.

Technology and the aspiration to pass on history’s flame
The exhibition “95 Years of the Party Flag Lighting the Way” proves that history is not rigid. With the support of technology, history becomes a multi-sensory, lively and intimate journey.
This is not merely a commemorative event but also a pioneering step for Viet Nam in applying technology to preserve and spread traditional values. Technology has enabled history to be told in the language of the times, so that today’s and future generations not only know but also love, respect and take pride in the Party and the chosen path of the nation.
