Following their talks within the framework of the State visit made by President of Singapore Halimah Yacob to Vietnam, President Nguyen Xuan Phuc and his Singaporean counterpart witnessed the signing ceremony for cooperation and investment agreements in many important areas on October 17.

President Nguyen Xuan Phuc and his Singaporean counterpart Halimah Yacob witnessed the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding on energy cooperation between the two Ministries of Industry and Trade.

The two Presidents were in attendance at the signing ceremony of cooperation and investment documents between the two countries.

Minister of Natural Resources and Environment Tran Hong Ha and Minister for Manpower and Second Minister for Trade and Industry of Singapore, signed a Memorandum of Understanding under Article 6 of the Paris Agreement, between the two Ministries of Industry and Trade.

The two State leaders witness the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation in cybersecurity, cybercrime prevention, and personal data protection between the Ministry of Communications and Information of Singapore and the Vietnamese Ministry of Public Security.

President Nguyen Xuan Phuc and his Singaporean counterpart Halimah Yacob, witness the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation in the field of vocational education between the Institute of Technical Education of Singapore and the General Department of Vocational Training under the Ministry of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs.

Deputy Minister of Planning and Investment Nguyen Thi Bich Ngoc grants the decision, approving investment for the project of construction and infrastructure business of Vinh Thanh Industrial Park (phase 1) in Can Tho city to Kelvin Teo, CEO of Sembcorp Development and Co-Chairman of the Vietnam-Singapore Industrial Park Group.
