PM sets up working group on administrative reform

Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh has signed a decision on the establishment of a working group on administrative reform.

The working group is headed by Deputy PM Tran Luu Quang, with the deputies being leaders of the Government Office, the Ministry of Home Affairs, the Ministry of Justice and the Ministry of Public Security.

Members of the working groups include officials from the Ministries of Planning and Investment, Finance, Industry and Trade, Construction, Transport, Natural Resources and Environment, Agriculture and Rural Development, Science and Technology, and Labour-Invalids and Social Affairs, as well as other agencies.

The working group’s function is to help the Prime Minister direct ministries, agencies and local authorities to implement the targets, tasks and solutions on administrative reform, strengthen administrative discipline, and enhance the policy response capacity.

The working group is also responsible for helping the Prime Minister address reports and recommendations regarding the obstacles and difficulties facing enterprises and people in terms of administrative procedures.

In addition, the working group is charged with proposing initiatives and measures to the Prime Minister to promote administrative reform.
