At the meeting, the National Assembly delegation of Lao Cai Province quickly informed voters of the contents and results of the 4th session of the 15th National Assembly.
Accordingly, the NA’s fourth session, held from October 20 to November 15, approved six Laws and 13 Resolutions. The meeting also approved the report summarising voters’ opinions and resolving and responding to voters’ opinions from relevant ministries, departments and agencies.
Voters in Van Ban District expressed their agreement with the country’s socio-economic development results in 2022. Expressing their belief in the leadership of the Party, the National Assembly and the Government in directing the prevention and control of the COVID-19 epidemic and the restoration of socio-economic development, consolidating security and defence, and enhancing the country’s position in the international arena.
Voters of Van Ban District also proposed to the Lao Cai Provincial National Assembly Delegation, responsibility allowances for grassroots cadres at villages and mass organisations and the increase in wages to create better working conditions for teachers at all levels, in mountainous and border areas, and continue to facilitate administrative reform in issues related to land.
Speaking at the meeting, Politburo member Tran Cam Tu noted voters’ opinions in Van Ban District, saying that these opinions come from basic reality and people's daily life. He suggested that Lao Cai Province and Van Ban District need to study and solve thoroughly as soon as possible.
Regarding issues under the central authority, together with the National Assembly Delegation of Lao Cai Province,summarise and submit to competent authorities for consideration and settlement in the coming time.
