At the event, the Secretaries of the provincial Party Committees presented their localities’ major documents, including draft political reports, self-assessment reports of provincial leadership in the 2020–2025 term, resolutions for the upcoming congresses, and personnel schemes.
Politburo and Secretariat members acknowledged their standout achievements in the past tenure while urging deeper evaluation on breakthroughs, implementation of key missions, rearrangement of the administrative apparatus, and Party discipline. They laid stress on the need to build solidarity and unity within the Party and political system to strengthen trust, and clarify measures to settle lingering shortcomings and development bottlenecks.
In his concluding remarks, PM Chinh praised the comprehensive achievements both provinces had attained across various sectors while pointing out limitations, causes, and lessons learned. He said that the proposed directions and tasks for 2025–2030 reflected political determination, long-term vision, and alignment with the orientations of the 14th National Party Congress’s documents and recent Politburo resolutions.
He urged the two provinces to fully incorporate feedback from the Politburo, Secretariat, and central agencies to finalise their documents and personnel plans.
PM Chinh called on the localities to build strong political system, ensure defence and security, improve ethnic and religious work, and enhance local livelihoods, underlining the importance of mobilising resources, fostering entrepreneurship, encouraging innovation and digital transformation, and nurturing aspirations for growth.
An Giang and Lam Dong must complete their action programmes implementing congress resolutions for presentation at their respective congresses, with clear objectives, tasks, resources, personnel responsibilities, timelines, and accountability measures, PM Chinh said, underscoring intensified communications work before, during, and after the congresses.
