Thoi Hoa residential area now has 396 households with a population of 1,560. Over the past year, the local people have upheld the spirit of unity and innovation in labour and production, contributing to economic development and the stability of society.
In response to the campaign “All People Unite to Build New-Style Rural Areas and Civilised Urban Areas” launched by the VFF Central Committee, local residents actively donated their land, crops and labour to build and upgrade roads, creating a new appearance.
In addition, the movement “All people unite to build cultural life in residential areas and building new-style rural areas” contributed to improving both the material and spiritual lives of local people.
On the same day, NA Chairwoman Ngan visited K20 prison under the General Department 8 of Ministry of Public Security in Chau Binh commune, Giong Trom district.
The NA Chairwoman encouraged prisoners to work harder and reform themselves to soon reintegrate into society and be reunited with their families. She also asked the prison’s leaders to ensure sound implementation of the Party’s guidelines and State’s policies as well as create favourable conditions for labour and amend their ways to become good citizens.
On the same day, Politburo member and Secretary of Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee Dinh La Thang attended the Great National Unity Festival at Residential Area 4 in Ward 7, District 3.
Speaking at the event, the Politburo member appreciated the achievements that the local officials and residents have gained in all fields of economy, society and culture. He asked the residential VFF committee to promote and expand the great unity bloc as well as encourage people to implement the Party’s resolution and guidelines and State’s policies and laws.
