Ha Dong urged to become a commercial, tourist and service centre of Hanoi

Politburo member and Secretary of the Hanoi City Party Committee Vuong Dinh Hue held a working session with Ha Dong District Party Committee on November 21 to discuss the implementation of the resolutions of the Party Congresses at all levels; results of the implementation of political tasks in 2020 as well as key missions in the time to come.

Speaking at the session, Secretary of the Ha Dong District Party Committee Nguyen Thanh Xuan said that the district has been seriously implementing the Resolution of the 21st District Party Congress, adding that the district has also done well the “dual tasks” of epidemic prevention and control, and economic recovery and development.

As a result, the district's budget revenue in the first 10 months of 2020 reaches more than VND2.5 trillion, equivalent to 68.7% of the assigned estimate, he said. The results achieved in 2020 have contributed to helping the district reach and exceed 16 out of 18 targets of the Resolution of the 20th District Party Congress (2015 - 2020 term), Xuan noted.

Politburo member and Secretary of the Hanoi City Party Committee Vuong Dinh Hue requested that Ha Dong District focus on synchronous implementation of solutions set by the 17th Hanoi City Party Congress and the 21st Ha Dong District Party Congress, as well as attach great importance to inspection and supervision to tighten discipline and promote the responsibility to set good example of officials and Party members at all levels.

The Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee also suggested that Ha Dong District set more breakthrough goals and strive to become a commercial, tourist and service centre of the capital city.

On the same day, Politburo member and Secretary of the Hanoi City Party Committee Vuong Dinh Hue met with voters from Ha Dong District to inform them of the results of the recently concluded National Assembly plenary session as well as to listen to their opinions and recommendations.
