In May 1954, the Vietnamese army and people achieved the historic, global-shaking victory of Dien Bien Phu, contributing to the glorious end of the resistance war against the invading French colonialists, opening a new development period for the country. Part of the contribution was made by the fighting and combat support forces at Co Noi Junction, which is considered the “gateway and fire coordinate” to enter the Dien Bien Phu battlefield.
