The event was held by the Quang Binh Provincial Department of Tourism.
According to the representative of the Department of Tourism, rural tourism and community tourism in the province have recently developed a wide range of services, such as exploring nature and ethnic culture; experiencing living in a homestay and participating in activities with local people; and visiting and experiencing traditional craft villages.
Among the more than 40 tourist areas, spots, and products in Quang Binh, there are many products associated with rural mountainous areas and ethnic minority areas, leading to many attractive experiences for visitors, while at the same time bringing sustainable economic benefits to the people.
Participating in the workshop, representatives of agencies, units, scientists, and experts in the field of tourism exchanged and discussed the contents and solutions to remove difficulties, obstacles, and limitations in developing rural tourism and community tourism.
The delegates suggested that the development orientation of rural tourism and community tourism should be associated with new style rural construction, with policies to support and promote rural tourism as well as the role of relevant parties in developing rural tourism and community tourism in the province, as well as experiences in developing rural tourism and community tourism in some provinces and cities in the country.
