A seminar titled "Rural youth and aspiration to get rich from agriculture" was organised by the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union Central Committee (HCYCC) in Da Lat City (Lam Dong) on November 3.

As part of the series of events under the national festival for rural youth and the 17th Luong Dinh Cua Award Ceremony 2022, organised by the HCYCC in coordination with the People's Committee of Lam Dong Province, the seminar was attended by leaders of the HCYCC, provinces and unions along with 32 delegates who have received the Luong Dinh Cua Award, 31 individuals who participated in the final round of the start-up contest for rural youths 2022, and typical union members and rural youths of the country.

The event aims to continue to encourage rural youths to take part in socio-economic development, start a business and create jobs in rural areas, while also making active and effective contributions to the process of agricultural and rural development and new rural construction.

At the seminar, experts and typical young people who received the Luong Dinh Cua Award over the years discussed and shared knowledge with a focus on three main topics, including the desire to get rich from agriculture, transformation in agriculture, and green agricultural economy.

The delegates highlighted the challenges and opportunities to get rich from agriculture and the trend of getting rich from this field. The delegates also shared knowledge and experiences to inspire union members and young people about the journey of starting a business, and getting rich from agriculture; raised proposals and recommendations to the HCYCC on supporting young people in getting rich from agriculture.

On this occasion, the HCYCC launched the "Luong Dinh Cua" Delegate Network over the years. This is the place where the winners of the Luong Dinh Cua Award can exchange, meet, learn from each other’s experience, and strongly spread the spirit of entrepreneurship, starting a business, and getting rich from modern agriculture to union members and young people across the country.
