The ceremony was attended by Nguyen Minh Hang, Deputy Foreign Minister, and Saadi Salama, Ambassador of the State of Palestine and Head of the Diplomatic Corps in Vietnam, along with representatives of ministries, departments, agencies, ambassadors, chargé d'affaires, and heads of foreign representative agencies in Vietnam.
Speaking at the ceremony, Deputy Foreign Minister Nguyen Minh Hang congratulated Saudi Arabia on its remarkable achievements in all fields.
She expressed confidence that Saudi Arabia will continue to achieve greater successes in its journey to build a prosperous and powerful nation.
The 25-year journey of Vietnam-Saudi Arabia relations has fostered friendship and multifaceted cooperation between the two countries, which has grown deeper and more substantial.
The Deputy Minister said that Vietnam and Saudi Arabia need to continue to deepen their cooperative relationship, turning mutual admiration into tangible results, turning each country's development aspirations into motivation and opportunities to open new areas of cooperation, and jointly promote growth for both countries and the two regions.
The Deputy Minister hopes that the two sides would organise high-level visits between the two countries' leaders in the near future. In addition to political and diplomatic relations, the cooperation in economics, trade, investment, tourism, green transformation, and digital transformation will be the main pillars in the partnership.
At the ceremony, Saudi Arabian Ambassador to Vietnam Mohammed Ismaeil A. Dahlwy affirmed that Saudi Arabia and Vietnam have many similarities; and these are what highlight the strong relationship between the two countries.
The Ambassador said that looking to the future, Saudi Arabia looks forward to deeper cooperation with Vietnam in areas such as technology, energy, sustainable development, and people-to-people exchange.
