NDO - The World Bank has launched a programme to support 600 Vietnamese small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) to apply technological solutions to enhance their productivity and competitiveness.

Such enterprises will be given free training on using copyrighted software and organising their resources.

In addition to providing knowledge on digital transformation, the World Bank will also provide financial assistance for SMEs to employ technology for sales and customer management, personnel management and internal communication.

Under the programme, the World Bank and its partners will focus on several areas, one of which is assessing the health of enterprises to identify issues decreasing their productivity and competitiveness.

The programme was launched in partnership with Real-Time Analytics (RTA), which will provide two digital transformation assistance packages for the SMEs under its remit.
