Outstanding students at international contest honoured

NDO - The Hanoi Department of Education and Training, organised a ceremony on January 13, to honour students who won prizes in international exams, during the 2021-2022 school year.

39 outstanding students representing the award winners were honoured to be present at the ceremony.

Director of Hanoi Department of Education and Training Tran The Cuong, reviewed the achievements of Hanoi students in international exams, and appreciated the efforts of teachers and students who have overcome all difficulties caused by the COVID-19 epidemic.

Hanoi students participated in five exams and all achieved excellent results.

On this occasion, Hanoi Department of Education and Training presented certificates of merit to 19 students and 12 officials and teachers.

Vice Chairman of the municipal People's Committee Chu Xuan Dung, recognised and praised the achievements of Hanoi students over the 2021-2022 school year, and at the same time expressed pride, since high-achievement in education is one of the ten typical events of Hanoi city, throughout 2021.

He also called on students to continue practicing and strive to accomplish more achievements, while contributing to society, in addition to spreading their learning methods and victories to friends.

He also suggested that the Hanoi Education and Training sector, promptly encourages and honours teachers, who have made great efforts and creativity in teaching and fostering students, especially those interested in building a comprehensive educational environment.
