Student community launches startup network associated with digital transformation

The Southern Network of Startup, Innovation and Digital Transformation Clubs (Hub Network Ho Chi Minh City) coordinated with Ton Duc Thang University Startup Club (SC TDTU) to organise the Hub Forum programme with the theme "Leading in Emerging Techs" in Ho Chi Minh City on April 13 and 14.

Continuing the success of previous events, the 2024 Hub Forum attracted more than 200,000 visits through online media channels and more than 400 face-to-face participants from organisations, businesses, and the student community of major universities in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City.

The programme focused on discussions and presentations from many leading speakers in the industry, such as: Shark Minh Beta, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Beta Group; Nguyen Phi Van, Chairwoman of the Southeast Asia Angel Investor Network; representatives of leaders of authorities; and experts from a variety of fields.

The topics discussed at the programme revolved around the global crisis, opportunities in entrepreneurship, personal development handbook, entrepreneurial mindset, AI technology, green business models, and blockchain.

Within the programme, the launch ceremony of the Ho Chi Minh City Startup, Innovation and Digital Transformation Club Network was held, with 7 members including: Ton Duc Thang University Startup Club (Ton Duc Thang University); Dynamic UEH Startup Student Club (University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City); Young startup community - Ehub FTU2 (Foreign Trade University 2); Flaghip Start-up Club (International University, Ho Chi Minh City National University); SSE Startup Club (Ho Chi Minh City University of Transport); Fulbright Business Club (Fulbright University Vietnam); and FIC Startup Club (Ho Chi Minh City Banking University).

On the occasion, Tran Quang Hung, Deputy Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of Hanoi and Chairman of Hub Network Vietnam, introduced the Uni Hub platform with the goal of supporting start-up activities and event management of member clubs.
