The event featured the participation of nearly 50 Vietnamese universities and colleges, as well as 30 from European countries.

At the exhibition, representatives from the MoET, domestic universities and representatives of education organisations, embassies, consulates and governmental organisations from numerous European countries, including France, Italy, Denmark and Poland, directly gave consultations to students and their parents, who were interested in the modern studying environment.

Visitors to the exhibition had a chance to find information on studying abroad and scholarships for many famous universities and colleges around the world.

According to the MoET, the exhibition is expected to be held biennially or triennially in the coming years.

A similar model was piloted through the Vietnam-Japan university rectors' conference in 2016, in which numerous cooperation projects between universities in the two countries were initiated, contributing to promoting education cooperation between Vietnam and Japan.

Deputy Minister of Education and Training Bui Van Ga said that the event aims to create opportunities for both domestic and European universities to share their experience as well as seek ways to enhance bilateral and multilateral co-operation to develop joint training and scientific research programmes.
