Many economic and legal experts, scientists and managers of ministries, branches, localities, units and individuals producing and trading Da Lat-Lam Dong agricultural products attended the seminar.
At the seminar, many opinions suggested promoting communications and training on intellectual property law and the role and importance of Da Lat agricultural product brands. QR codes should be promoted to trace the origin of Da Lat agricultural products and effectively carry out post-inspection of products using the Da Lat brand. This includes inspecting and controlling the market, rectifying the trading activities of imported agricultural products or counterfeiting of brands, and ensuring the rights of producers, consumers and the reputation of the Da Lat agricultural product brand.
At the same time, it is also necessary to strengthen sanctions by proposing to increase administrative fines or criminal handling to be effective, and there needs to be a decree on building and developing brands and trademarks of agricultural products.
