The event aimed to mark the 80th anniversary of the Traditional Day of the People’s Public Security and the 20th anniversary of the All-People’s Day for Safeguarding National Security.
The art performance was attended by Phan Dinh Trac, Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Party Central Committee’s Commission for Internal Affairs; General Phan Van Giang, Politburo member, Minister of National Defence; General Luong Tam Quang, Politburo member, Minister of Public Security; Le Hoai Trung, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Chief of the Party Central Committee’s Office; members of the Party Central Committee including Tran Hong Ha, Deputy Prime Minister; Senior Lieutenant General Le Tan Toi, Chairman of the National Assembly’s Committee for Defence and Security; as well as ambassadors, chargés d’affaires, and heads of international organisations in Viet Nam.
Through heroic and emotional melodies, it evoked national pride, patriotism, the aspiration for peace, and the determination to contribute to a prosperous and strong Viet Nam.
It included songs praising the Communist Party of Viet Nam and President Ho Chi Minh, arousing national pride and deep gratitude for the glorious pages of history written by the Party and Uncle Ho.
It also featured works honouring public security officers devoted to national construction and defence, songs depicting the country’s revival after war, and melodies expressing aspirations for peace, love, and faith in the future. Each song resonated as a heroic anthem, inspiring strength and confidence in the journey of building and safeguarding the Fatherland.
The event was also an occasion for each audience member to further cherish the sacred values of independence and freedom, and to reinforce trust in the steadfast role of the People’s Public Security in safeguarding the nation’s peace.
