This was announced by the British Business Group Vietnam (BBGV) at a press conference to introduce the event, held in Ho Chi Minh City on September 12.

Since the first Fun Run, which took place in 2000, the BBGV has raised more than VND11 billion to benefit charities throughout Vietnam. Over the years, more than 100,000 people have taken part in this event.

Last year’s event attracted more than 10,500 runners and raised nearly VND1 billion to support charitable Vietnamese causes.

According to Shark Tank investor Le Dang Khoa, the Goodwill Ambassador of the 2019 BBGV Fun Run, participating in the event is a good way for the business community to promote their social responsibility.
