The tournament attracted 16 teams, with nearly 400 players participating.
Organised by the Vietnamese Student Association in the UK (SVUK), this year's tournament features young Vietnamese student players from more than 50 universities across the UK.
Representative of the Organizing Committee and Chairman of the Vietnamese Student Association in the UK, Nguyen Tue Minh, excitedly said that the SVUK Cup is a tournament highly anticipated by the Vietnamese student community in the UK.

The SVUK is the official representative for 14,000 Vietnamese students from all levels of study in the UK.
In 2014, it was officially recognised as a member of the Vietnamese Student Association. In 2018, it received a Certificate of Merit from the Minister of Foreign Affairs for its contributions to student activities.
