The programme runs from September 15 to October 31, 2026, on the website www.bansac.vn, and is implemented based on Plan No. 4724/KH-BVHTTDL dated July 30, 2026 of the Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism. The Viet Nam Multimedia Corporation (VTC) is in charge of organising the programme in coordination with the Office of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.

The programme aims to contribute to spreading the contents of Resolution No. 80-NQ/TW dated January 7, 2026 of the Politburo and Resolution No. 28/2026/QH16 dated April 24, 2026 of the National Assembly on cultural development; thereby awakening patriotism and national pride and raising public awareness of Vietnamese cultural values in the context of digital transformation.

The programme comprises two online activities: the “Connecting Ban Sac” video creation competition and the “Ban Sac Knowledge” quiz competition.

Among them, “Connecting Ban Sac” is open to short video works exploring themes related to Viet Nam’s history, arts, heritage, tourism and people. Participants are encouraged to apply AI and digital technologies during the creative process, thereby seeking new ways of presenting traditional cultural values.

The application of technology is subject to requirements for accuracy, authenticity and compliance with the law, contributing to improving the quality of cultural content in the digital environment.

With “Ban Sac Knowledge”, participants will take online quizzes on Resolution No. 80-NQ/TW and Resolution No. 28/2026/QH16, together with knowledge of Viet Nam’s history, culture, arts, heritage, tourism and people.

According to the organising committee, the bansac.vn platform has been developed to integrate online interactive activities, including a voting and ranking system based on engagement indicators such as views, likes, comments and shares; while also hosting the quiz competition on the digital platform.

The programme is open to Vietnamese citizens and foreigners living, studying and working in Viet Nam, with no restrictions on age, gender or occupation.

The total value of the programme’s prizes is up to 100 million VND, excluding gifts and in-kind prizes. The first prize in each competition is worth 10 million VND. The “Ban Sac Knowledge” competition also includes daily random gifts and weekly prizes during the programme.

Information on the rules and participation guidelines is updated at www.bansac.vn. The overall prizes are expected to be announced and presented in November 2026.

Through the “Ban Sac Programme”, the organising committee aims to create a space for the public, particularly the younger generation, to access and express Vietnamese cultural values through approaches suited to the digital environment; thereby contributing to preserving and promoting national cultural identity during the digital transformation process.
