The “China-Viet Nam Harmony” art programme wil be organised by the Chinese Embassy in Viet Nam in collaboration with Ho Guom Theatre and the National Centre for the Performing Arts of China at Ho Guom Theatre at 8pm on October 1 to mark the 77th National Day of the People’s Republic of China (October 1, 1949–October 1, 2026).

The Ho Chi Minh City Organising Committee for the Commemoration of Major Holidays staged an art programme titled “The Star of the Fatherland” at the April 30 Stadium, Con Dao Special Zone, Ho Chi Minh City on July 25 to commemorate the 79th anniversary of the War Invalids and Martyrs’ Day (July 27, 1947–July 27, 2026).

An art programme entitled “Climate Action”, performed by the Viet Nam Contemporary Arts Theatre on June 7, attracted a large number of audiences.

The Ho Chi Minh City Department of Culture and Sports on June 5 organised an art programme commemorating the 136th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh’s birth (May 19, 1890 - 2026) and the 115th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh’s departure to seek a path to national salvation (June 5, 1911 - 2026).

A special political art programme titled “Prime Minister Pham Van Dong – A lifetime for the nation and the people” was held at the Quang Ngai provincial Exhibition and Convention Centre on February 28, as part of activities marking the 120th birth anniversary of the late leader.

On December 21, in Ha Noi, Viet Nam Television, in coordination with the Propaganda Department of the General Political Department of the Viet Nam People’s Army, organised a special art programme to celebrate the 81st anniversary of the founding of the Viet Nam People’s Army.

An art programme featuring performances by Vietnamese and Lao artists was held on November 30 in Vientiane, marking the 50th anniversary of Lao National Day (December 2, 1975 – 2025).
