The 2025 Autumn Fair in Ha Noi has attracted large crowds over one week, with the cinema zone emerging as a major cultural highlight.
The Autumn Fair 2025, running from October 25 to November 4 at the Viet Nam Exposition Centre (VEC) in Ha Noi’s Dong Anh commune, has become a centrepiece of this year’s trade promotion agenda, hosting over 3,000 domestic and foreign booths from 34 countries.
Designed as a miniature thuy dinh (water pavilion) adorned with whimsical puppets, the Viet Nam National Puppetry Theatre’s exhibition space stands out a cultural highlight at the Autumn Fair 2025, held at the Viet Nam Exposition Centre in Dong Anh commune, Ha Noi.
Within the framework of the First Autumn Fair 2025, a model of the National Exhibition and Convention Centre, crafted from 410 kilograms of Vietnamese red sticky rice and 100 kilograms of beans, was officially recognised as a Vietnamese record, on October 31.
The 2025 Autumn Fair recorded a sharp increase in domestic purchasing power, with many enterprises and craft village cooperatives earning tens of millions of VND in revenue each day, affirming the effectiveness of trade promotion.
With its large scale, the “Quintessence of Ha Noi Autumn” space, chaired by the Ha Noi Department of Industry and Trade, is considered a must-visit destination at the Autumn Fair 2025. Within the space, visitors can not only watch artisans making pottery or modelling “to he” (toy figurines) but also learn about the stories behind each unique handicraft product.
