The fair aims to stimulate consumption, develop the market domestically while strengthening trade promotion activities, and boosting import–export and international economic integration, thereby creating new momentum for strong growth in the era of the nation’s rise.
A highlight of this year’s fair is the coordination of trade promotion with tourism and Vietnamese cultural promotion, which helps Viet Nam become an attractive destination for international tourists, buyers, and investors, thereby contributing to raise Viet Nam’s image and position on the global trade map.
Largest-scale and most diverse products
According to Vu Ba Phu, Head of the Viet Nam Trade Promotion Agency under the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the Autumn Fair 2025 is not only a trade fair but truly a national-scale trade promotion event.
The organising committee has carefully screened and selected more than 2,500 participating enterprises, including around 100 foreign businesses from continents. The fair will feature about 3,000 booths and more than 10,000 products for display and trade.
In addition to being the fair with the largest scale and most diverse products ever held, Autumn Fair 2025 also sets several records, including: the most modern venue — the Viet Nam Exhibition Centre (VEC), which is one of the largest works in Southeast Asia and among the world’s top ten exhibition centres; the highest-quality products, because all displayed products meet technical standards, export certifications, or are part of the “Viet Nam National Brand” and “High-Quality Vietnamese Goods” programmes; the most attractive promotions, because the fair will introduce many attractive promotion programmes with discounts of up to 100% and millions of vouchers.
According to Nguyen Sinh Nhat Tan, Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade, deputy head of the steering committee and head of the organising committee of Autumn Fair 2025, the fair also deserves another “record” of “the most rapid preparation time.”
Just over ten days after the Prime Minister’s directive was issued, all agencies from central to local levels, enterprises, and organisers, worked intensively day and night to finalise preparations.
The fair now features the participation of 34 provinces and cities as well as thousands of Vietnamese businesses, cooperatives, and major corporations, and has attracted numerous international partners and enterprises to display, trade, and seek cooperation opportunities.
According to Nguyen Anh Duong, Deputy Head of Ha Noi’s Department of Industry and Trade, as the host locality, Ha Noi has taken comprehensive measures to ensure security, order, environmental sanitation, and support services for residents and businesses. The city will also directly participate in the fair under the theme “Quintessence of Ha Noi autumn,” recalling the image of celtis sinensis, yellow chrysanthemums, and sunny streets.
The Ha Noi pavilion will showcase a wide range of typical products of the capital, from handicrafts, One Commune One Product (OCOP) items, and products of traditional villages to high-tech products. Many of which will be introduced for the first time at this fair.
Bringing culture into the economic space
Not only focusing on trade and commerce, Autumn Fair 2025 carries the mission of bringing culture into the economic space, highlighting Vietnamese creativity and identity in the flow of globalisation.
In addition to business conferences, trade promotion forums, and corporate talk shows, the event will feature a series of cultural and artistic programmes, film screenings, fashion shows, sports events, game competitions, and culinary showcases.
Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Ho An Phong said the ministry was assigned to organise a series of regular cultural and artistic events, turning the fair into a true festival for people and businesses, and connecting people with markets and goods.
Visitors to the fair will not only have the opportunity to make purchases but also to enjoy unique cultural and artistic products — the quintessence of Vietnamese culture — presented in forms of tangible products and cultural services.
The participation of Viet Nam’s cultural industries in this fair plays a vital role in promoting the values and essence of Vietnamese culture to domestic and international markets, enhancing creativity, and encouraging investment in the cultural industry.
According to the organisers, the fair is expected to welcome an average of 500,000 visitors per day, reflecting the strong appeal of a national and regional-scale event.
The successful organisation of Autumn Fair 2025 will create the foundation for establishing a four-season annual trade fair series — Spring–Summer–Autumn–Winter — becoming an important destination for trade promotion, investment and development of Viet Nam's cultural industry, aiming to reach international level.
Vu Ba Phu shared that this event is expected to become a regular and continuous trade promotion event, a national highlight, and an annual meeting point for investors and import–export enterprises worldwide in the long term.
After the fair concludes, following the Prime Minister’s direction, the Ministry of Industry and Trade will coordinate with other ministries, sectors, and localities to review and enhance organisational efficiency, and continue organising specialised fairs in key sectors such as agriculture, supporting industries, food and beverages, and consumer goods, thereby creating opportunities to access broader and more sustainable market for Vietnamese businesses.
