Accordingly, the Ministry of Construction, Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Public Security, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment, the Ho Chi Minh City and Dong Nai Municipal People’s Committees, and relevant agencies are required to seriously implement the directions of Party General Secretary and State President To Lam in accordance with their respective functions and tasks.
The Ministry of Construction and the Ministry of Finance shall take the lead and coordinate with relevant ministries and agencies to inspect and accurately assess the actual progress of the entire project, especially packages under Component Projects 3 and 4 that are at risk of delays and may not be completed in 2026.
They shall promptly direct investors and managing agencies to take measures to accelerate implementation and ensure completion as scheduled.
They are responsible for proactively resolving difficulties and bottlenecks within their authority during project implementation, and promptly reporting to competent authorities on implementation results, difficulties and bottlenecks, and solutions if these fall beyond their authority.
The two ministries are also requested to coordinate with the Ho Chi Minh City and Dong Nai Municipal People’s Committees to direct investors of the Bien Hoa–Vung Tau, Ben Luc–Long Thanh, and Ho Chi Minh City–Long Thanh–Dau Giay expressway projects, as well as Ring Roads 3 and 4 of Ho Chi Minh City, to accelerate implementation and soon complete and put the projects into operation in synchronisation with Long Thanh International Airport.
This is aimed at ensuring seamless connectivity and maximising the investment efficiency of the projects.
The Dong Nai Municipal People’s Committee are urged to urgently and thoroughly resolve related difficulties and bottlenecks in preparation to hand over the entire site to the Airports Corporation of Viet Nam.
