The Resolution stipulates that the Dong Nai City People’s Committee shall carry out the project to extend the Ben Thanh-Suoi Tien metro line to Dong Nai City’s administrative centre and Long Thanh International Airport as an urgent construction project in accordance with Clause 2, Article 70 of the 2025 Law on Construction.
The Government has tasked the Dong Nai City People’s Committee with directing the implementation of the project in strict accordance with laws on construction, investment under the public-private partnership (PPP) model and other relevant regulations, while ensuring efficiency, quality, safety, openness and transparency and preventing any violations.
The committee is also required to carry out compensation and site clearance in a manner that harmonises the interests of residents, businesses, organisations and other relevant stakeholders; prevent violations, shortcomings, complaints and complex security and public-order hotspots; and coordinate closely and promptly with specialised units under the Ministry of Public Security to effectively ensure security and public order.
