Minister of National Defence Gen. Phan Van Giang held talks with Minister of Defence Industry of Azerbaijan Vugar Mustafayev in Ha Noi on December 25.

Chief Justice of the Supreme People’s Court Nguyen Van Quang had talks with a delegation from the Supreme Court of Azerbaijan led by Chief Justice and Chairman of the Judicial-Legal Council Inam Imdad Karimov in Ha Noi on December 2.

On September 8, Nguyen Thi Hoa Mai, Deputy Director of the Viet Nam National Authority of Tourism, held a meeting with Florian Sengstschmid, CEO of the Azerbaijan Tourism Board, to promote the exchange of tourists between the two countries.

The third “Viet Nam Days” was held in Baku from July 26-29 by the Embassy of Azerbaijan in Viet Nam. The fact that 2025 is the Year of Strategic Partnership between the two countries gave special importance to the event. Numerous guests from Viet Nam - musicians, artists, writers, scientists, businessmen and officials - visited Baku to participate in the events.

Viet Nam and Azerbaijan have agreed on 17 potential cooperation areas with 58 specific activities for the 2025–2027 period, aiming to advance bilateral relations in a substantive, effective, and long-term manner.

A Vietnamese delegation led by Ambassador to Russia and Azerbaijan Dang Minh Khoi attended the Summit of Non-Aligned Movement (NAM) Contact Group in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, held in Baku on March 2.
