In recent years, Kep Village in Ia Ly Commune, Gia Lai Province has emerged as a shining example of how community-based tourism can be successfully integrated with the preservation of traditional culture. The brocade weaving craft of the local Jrai ethnic community has not only been revitalised but has also become a distinctive tourism offering, drawing visitors to the village.

In recent years, community-based tourism has brought a breath of fresh air, driving notable changes across many remote mountain villages.

To create new impulses for Vietnam's tourism industry, it is extremely important to mobilise the participation of the community and businesses in tourism activities. The problem is in how to attract and create connections and effective sharing among stakeholders to promote the sustainable development of the tourism sector.
