Viet Nam and the European Union (EU) have steadily expanded cooperation in various fields from politics and diplomacy to trade, investment, science and technology, and sustainable development over more than 35 years of diplomatic relations.

General Secretary of the Communist Party of Viet Nam Central Committee and President To Lam held talks with Swiss President Guy Parmelin in Ha Noi on October 17 afternoon, as part of the latter’s two-day official visit to Viet Nam.

Over the past more than 50 years, Viet Nam and India have worked together to nurture a close, enduring, and comprehensive friendship, with cooperation growing increasingly substantive and in-depth.
