Despite ongoing socio-economic hardship, the education sector of Ia Dom Commune in Gia Lai Province is gradually flourishing thanks to the concerted efforts of local authorities, schools, parents and the wider community. Each day brings new and commendable results.

In Ha Noi on October 24, the Australia–Viet Nam Cooperation Workshop on Promoting Digital Transformation in Education attracted a large number of domestic and international delegates. The event was part of a three-day visit to Viet Nam (October 22–24) organised by the Australian Government’s Trade and Investment Commission (Austrade).

As part of the 10th session of the 15th National Assembly, deputies on October 22 morning listened to proposals and verification reports on three draft laws concerning the education sector, which were later discussed in group sessions in the afternoon.

The Politburo has issued Resolution No.71-NQ/TW on breakthroughs in education and training development, emphasising the need for a unified set of textbooks nationwide and by 2030, textbooks will be provided free of charge to all students.
