As part of its roadmap for transitioning to green public transport, Ha Noi is accelerating the replacement of diesel-powered buses with electric and gas-powered vehicles across its network.

The People’s Committee of Ha Noi has issued a plan to convert all petrol- and diesel-powered taxis to electric and green-energy vehicles before 2030, accompanied by a range of support mechanisms and policies for businesses.

The Ho Chi Minh City Department of Construction officially put into operation Electric Bus Route 173 (Con Dao Centre–Co Ong) in the Con Dao Special Zone on December 25.
