President of the National Assembly of People’s Power and President of the Council of State of Cuba Esteban Lazo Hernández left Ha Noi on October 5 night, successfully concluding his six-day official visit to Viet Nam at the invitation of Vietnamese National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man.

President of the National Assembly of People’s Power and President of the Council of State of Cuba Esteban Lazo Hernández visited and worked at Nestlé Bong Sen Company and Thang Long II Industrial Park in Nguyen Van Linh commune, Hung Yen province on October 4, as part of his working visit to the northern locality.

Cuba has called on Vietnamese businesses to expand investment in areas where Viet Nam boasts strengths and the Caribbean country has demand, such as agriculture, food processing, pharmaceuticals, tourism, and technology, as part of its 2025–2030 economic and social development strategy, with a view to revitalising production and overcoming longstanding difficulties.
