Nestled in the Truong Son mountain range, near the Viet Nam–Laos border, Ho Le is a remote village of the Van Kieu ethnic minority in Khe Sanh Commune, Quang Tri Province.

The preservation and promotion of the cultural values of ethnic minorities has always received close attention and direction from the Party and the State, which regard them as an inseparable part of the unified yet diverse Vietnamese culture.

During his working visits to mountainous localities, Party General Secretary To Lam reiterated that caring for and improving the quality of life of ethnic minority people is both an important socio-economic task and a special political duty. This contributes significantly to consolidating the great national unity bloc and safeguarding national security.
