As Viet Nam aims for double-digit economic growth, enhancing the quality of foreign direct investment (FDI) attraction has been identified as a key driver for generating additional resources for development.

Viet Nam has reached a point where it needs to move decisively away from the mindset of “rolling out the red carpet” for foreign investment at any cost and towards a more selective and substantive approach, with technology, innovation, green development, linkages with domestic enterprises, and value creation serving as the key benchmarks.

On the afternoon of April 7, the People’s Committee of Quang Ninh Province held a meeting with foreign direct investment (FDI) enterprises in the locality to engage in direct dialogue and address difficulties and obstacles.

Leaders of Dong Nai Province have pledged to stand by, share with, and support foreign-invested enterprises (FDI) from the investment preparation stage as well as throughout their production and business operations in the locality.
