Quang Ninh accompanies and provides maximum support for FDI enterprises

On the afternoon of April 7, the People’s Committee of Quang Ninh Province held a meeting with foreign direct investment (FDI) enterprises in the locality to engage in direct dialogue and address difficulties and obstacles.

To date, the province has 237 valid FDI projects from investors representing twenty countries and territories. The total registered investment capital totals nearly 16 billion USD, of which the accumulated disbursed capital has reached nearly 10 billion USD. In recent years, FDI projects have made important contributions to the province’s socio-economic development results.

Bui Van Khang, Chairman of the People’s Committee of Quang Ninh Province, directly responds to and addresses proposals from enterprises at the meeting.

Speaking at the conference, Bui Van Khang, Chairman of the People’s Committee of Quang Ninh Province, expressed his appreciation and gratitude for the contributions and trust of FDI enterprises in choosing Quang Ninh as an investment destination.

He affirmed that the province’s investment and business environment will continue to improve, with a series of very large-scale infrastructure projects to be implemented. Notably, this includes the Ha Noi–Quang Ninh high-speed railway project.

At the same time, the province is persistently proposing several major initiatives to the central authorities, with outstanding incentive policies expected to be applied.

With the principle of always accompanying enterprises, Chairman Bui Van Khang affirmed that Quang Ninh’s two-tier administration consistently follows the guiding principle: “Harmonised interests, shared risks; what is said will be done, what is committed will be fulfilled.”

This is not only a political commitment but also a guiding principle in governance, thereby building trust, stability, and a transparent and attractive investment environment for the business community, especially FDI enterprises.

Accordingly, Quang Ninh Province also calls on FDI enterprises to accompany and support the transfer of science and technology as well as the training of highly skilled workers and corporate management skills for the locality; and to provide better incentive policies for workers, thereby attracting labour from other localities to meet enterprise demand.

In addition, enterprises are encouraged to establish companies or branches and register their business operations in Quang Ninh, thereby making further contributions to the locality’s overall development and joining the province in realising its long-term development goals.
